CONSISTENCY
Consistency is an important aspect that should be taken into consideration when designing an object, a system or an interface. With consistency in design, we are able to maintain or even to improve usability of a product designed. Consistency is practically about similar parts being expressed or designed in similar manner or ways despite the version or series of products manufactured.
There are basically four types of consistency shown by the diagram below.
